Power Mech Wins Rs 9.72 Bn Order for Yadadri Township

Power Mech Projects has secured a contract worth Rs 9.72 billion (excluding GST) from Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO) for the construction of an integrated township at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Nalgonda district, Telangana.

The extensive project includes soil investigation, engineering, design, and construction of various infrastructure and civic amenities. These encompass independent Type A and B quarters, multistorey (stilt + 10 floors) residential buildings (Type D, E, and F), along with supporting facilities such as a hospital, school, clubhouse, commercial complexes, an indoor stadium, multipurpose function hall, and sports complex.

Additional works include security rooms, maintenance offices, site levelling, grading, internal roads and drains, potable water tanks (underground and overhead), septic tanks, a sewage treatment plant (STP), parking sheds, rainwater harvesting pits, street lighting, and a substation. The scope also covers the construction of a bitumen (BT) approach road with a bridge over Tungapadu Vagu, compound walls, and extensive avenue plantation.

Located in Veerlapalem village of Dameracherla mandal, this township aims to provide high-quality living and support infrastructure for personnel at the Yadadri power facility.
