TVS Motor Leases 529,533 Sq Ft Office Space in Bengaluru

Chennai-based TVS Motor has leased approximately 529,533 sq ft of super built-up office space at Gardencity IT Park in Hebbal, Bengaluru. The lease has a tenure of 10 years and commenced on September 22, 2026, according to information available on the transaction.

The monthly rent for the property is approximately Rs. 47 mn. The lease was registered last week, while Hebbal Infraspace, owned by Gardencity, is the landlord. The transaction is understood to support the consolidation and expansion of TVS Motor’s office operations in Bengaluru.

Real estate consultancy Colliers advised on the transaction. The company and Gardencity did not respond to email queries seeking details, while Colliers declined to comment.

TVS Motor has its registered office in Chennai and operates manufacturing plants in Hosur, Mysuru and Solan, besides maintaining sales offices across India. The multinational manufacturer produces two- and three-wheeler vehicles and is part of TVS Venu.

The company recorded monthly sales growth of 21 per cent in August 2026, selling 616,540 units compared with 509,536 units in August 2025. Bengaluru remained India’s leading office market, recording lease transactions covering 15.7 mn sq ft during the first nine months of 2026, a 12 per cent year-on-year increase, according to a Colliers India research report.

The city accounted for 29 per cent of office leasing across the top seven Indian cities during the period. New office supply in Bengaluru stood at 14.1 mn sq ft in the first nine months of 2026, rising 19 per cent year-on-year and contributing about one-third of office completions across the leading Indian cities.
