Salesforce announces collaboration with JSW Group for digitisation

Salesforce has announced its collaboration with JSW Group to support its digital strategy. By using its technology of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, the Indian conglomerate offers a single interface.

It will enhance its distribution, customer service and supply chain for large-scale projects across steel and cement businesses.

JSW is India's leading steel, cement and paints business. It provides integrated offers to its customers in the sectors of infrastructure and building. By creating a single interface across companies, JSW Client Managers are equipped to personalise customer conversations and capitalise on cross-selling opportunities.

Accessing customer data, sales terms, cross-selling, and services would be simplified on a single platform. JSW Group is also looking to extend its large-scale project clientele to other parts of the country.

Parth Jindal, Managing Director of JSW, said that technology is a crucial part of growth strategy. Salesforce will enable greater collaboration between sales teams and businesses by providing data and tools to manage customer relationships more efficiently through a single group interface.

By launching Aikyam, the company wants to revolutionise the way JSW Group works with clients within infrastructure and building industries. The company also plans to give products like paints, construction chemicals, to large institutional customers through the Aikyam interface.

Sales and Distribution, MD of Salesforce, Arun Kumar Parameswaran, said that the Covid-19 pandemic had reinforced the importance of customer experience across different industries. With the motive of innovation, JSW has always been a leader in the steel and cement industry. Salesforce will further strengthen customer services through digital transformation.
