Reportedly, CII has been urged to host interactive sessions with MSMEs, ordnance factories, and sectors involved in the defence supply chain. This will facilitate the conversion of the emerging units into functioning ones. Lt. General Kalita praised the state government's initiatives to mobilise defence equipment in the east. He emphasised the imperative needs of the armed forces in terms of drone technology, sustainable solutions, and surveillance tools.
