With demand in the decorative segment growing faster than the automotive segment for the past few years, the company increased its revenue contribution to the segment to 55 per cent in FY2018 from 50 per cent in FY2009; at present, the decorative and automotive segment contribute 55 per cent and 45 per cent to revenue, respectively. The company has four manufacturing facilities with a capacity of 364,000 kl and plans to increase this to 500,000 kl to cater to growing demand in the industrial and decorative divisions. For its expansion, land acquisition for a greenfield project in Vizag is complete and a greenfield plant in Punjab and a new R&amp;D facility in Navi Mumbai will commence operations soon. Financially, Kansai Nerolac posted a topline of Rs 47.37 billion in FY2018 (FY2017: Rs 45.31 billion) and PAT stood at Rs 5.16 billion (FY2017: Rs 5.05 billion).
