Bartronics India Empanelled as CBC for Bank of Maharashtra

Bartronics India Limited, a leading provider of technology-enabled financial inclusion and digital infrastructure solutions, has been empanelled as a Corporate Business Correspondent (CBC) Vendor by Bank of Maharashtra for a period of five years. The empanelment marks a key milestone in the 15-year partnership between Bartronics and the Bank, reaffirming trust in the company’s operational excellence and execution capabilities. Over the years, Bartronics has led initiatives in bank account openings and social security scheme sourcing. Its CBC network under the Bank currently spans 1,800 villages, serving more than 15 million people through ISO-standard-compliant systems. Under the new engagement, Bartronics plans to expand its network to 3,000 banking touchpoints across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka within 6–9 months. This includes setting up 1,200 new Customer Service Points (CSPs), expected to generate an additional Rs 500 million in revenue over the next five years. The initiative will also create employment for 1,200 local CSP agents, supporting rural entrepreneurship and financial empowerment. Through this collaboration, Bartronics will continue assisting the Bank of Maharashtra in delivering essential banking and financial services—including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, microinsurance, and financial literacy programmes—across underserved regions. Speaking on the occasion, N. Vidhya Sagar Reddy, Managing Director, Bartronics India Limited, said, “Our empanelment by Bank of Maharashtra is a strong validation of Bartronics’ performance, credibility, and field execution strength. With this new engagement, we aim to expand our footprint to reach 3000 locations under Bank of Maharastra while empowering communities through digital financial access. As we continue to collaborate closely with the Bank, our goal remains to strengthen India’s financial inclusion ecosystem through efficient delivery, trained manpower, and measurable social impact.” Bartronics’ long-term vision is to play a transformative role in India’s digital banking landscape by leveraging its extensive CBC network through its ongoing partnerships with seven banks, and empowering underserved regions with accessible and secure financial services.
