BL Kashyap Wins Rs 3.64 Billion Chennai Contract

Construction and infrastructure company BL Kashyap and Sons (BLK) has secured a contract worth Rs 3.64 billion to execute civil and structural works for a commercial development in Chennai.

According to a regulatory filing, ESPN Property Builders and Developers Pvt Ltd has awarded BLK a contract valued at Rs 3.64 billion for civil and structural works at the “Embassy Splendid Tech Zone – Block” project in Pallavaram, Chennai. The order is domestic in nature and is expected to be executed over a period of around 24 months.

The company said it received intimation of the order on 29 December 2025, and the disclosure has been made in line with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. BL Kashyap also clarified that its promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity and that no related-party transactions are involved.

Earlier in November, the company had secured another order worth Rs 2.54 billion from DLF Home Developers. That contract involved civil, structural, rough finishing and waterproofing works for a project in Sector 63, Gurugram.

BL Kashyap’s shares closed at Rs 55.6, up nearly 2 per cent from the previous close. Over the past month, the stock has delivered returns of more than 13 per cent.

For the second quarter of FY26, BL Kashyap reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 86 million, compared with a net profit of Rs 93 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose by nearly 33 per cent year on year to Rs 3.35 billion in Q2FY26, from Rs 2.67 billion in Q2FY25. However, EBITDA remained flat at Rs 200 million during the quarter.
