BLS Wins Rs 20.5 Billion UIDAI Contract for Aadhaar Centres

BLS International Services surged 3.78 per cent to Rs 382.40 following the announcement of a major work order valued at Rs 20.5 billion from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), New Delhi. The contract appoints BLS as the official service provider to establish and operate Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) across districts in India.
These centres will facilitate both appointment-based and walk-in services for Aadhaar enrolment, updates, and other associated tasks. This project, which aims to enhance Aadhaar’s accessibility nationwide, involves public service outsourcing and is set to be delivered over a six-year period.
BLS confirmed that the contract does not involve related-party transactions, and that no promoter or group entities have any vested interest in the awarding agency.
Established in 2005, BLS International is a tech-enabled global services partner catering to governments and citizens, operating in areas such as visa processing, passports, consular affairs, e-governance, biometrics, and attestation services. The company works with over 46 governments, embassies, and consulates worldwide, ensuring secure data processing through robust technology frameworks.
Financially, BLS posted a 49.8 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 1.81 billion, while revenue from operations grew by 44.23 per cent to Rs 7.1 billion in Q1 FY26 compared to the same period in FY25.
