Blum Opens Experience Centre In Ulhasnagar

Blum India has opened an Experience Centre in Ulhasnagar to address common durability issues with furniture hardware that cause drawers to stick and cabinet doors to sag. The new centre aims to bring world-class hardware closer to local buyers and reduce reliance on post-purchase repairs. The initiative is intended to raise standards for modular kitchens and fitted furniture.

Located in partnership with Mahalaxmi Kitchen World, the centre departs from conventional showrooms by enabling architects, designers and homeowners to test hardware in person rather than view samples on a wall. This hands-on approach is designed to help professionals verify performance before specification and to provide consumers with greater confidence when selecting fittings for modular kitchens and custom cabinetry. The facility targets both trade and retail customers seeking durable solutions.

The product range on display includes LEGRABOX, an ultra-slim, straight-lined drawer system that aims to combine a premium aesthetic with structural strength; TANDEMBOX antaro, a box system for wooden drawers built to handle heavy storage while maintaining a light glide; and AVENTOS HK top, a lift system that moves wall-cabinet doors upwards to enhance access and to reduce perceived weight. Demonstrations have been arranged so visitors can assess motion technologies and assembly devices under realistic load conditions. The centre also serves as a resource for modular kitchen designers pursuing global performance standards.

Blum India emphasised that the centre is part of a broader strategy to support designers and homeowners with durable motion solutions and digital services, noting that the manufacturer operates eight production plants in Vorarlberg and additional sites in the United States, Brazil, Poland and China, with 33 subsidiaries and representative offices and worldwide deliveries to more than 120 markets. The company advised that products are available through registered dealers and distributors or by contacting customer service on 022 6933 0000. The showroom address is Mahalaxmi Kitchen World, first floor, Furniture Bazaar, New Link Road, Ulhasnagar 421002 Mumbai. The local partner said the opening would bring hands-on experience to the neighbourhood and reduce dependence on catalogues when specifying fittings.
