Dynacons Wins Rs 740.99 Mn DaaS Contract from J&K Bank

Dynacons Systems & Solutions has secured a prestigious Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) project from Jammu & Kashmir Bank, valued at Rs 740.99 million, marking a significant milestone in the company’s digital workplace solutions portfolio. The project will be executed over a period of five years.

Headquartered in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir Bank operates a nationwide network of more than 1,000 branches and over 1,400 ATMs, supported by an advanced IT backbone that connects its offices and branches through a robust wide area network. As part of its ongoing digital transformation journey and efforts to enhance customer experience, the bank has selected Dynacons to implement an advanced workplace solution powered by the DaaS model.

Under the project, Dynacons will deploy 9,851 advanced desktop systems across 1,019 branches pan-India on an Opex-based DaaS framework. The engagement covers the complete device lifecycle, including procurement, configuration, maintenance and support, security updates, and end-of-life e-waste management. This integrated approach is designed to simplify IT operations while ensuring consistent performance and security across the bank’s network.

By adopting the DaaS model, Jammu & Kashmir Bank is expected to benefit from predictable operating costs, improved cash flow management and a reduced IT administration burden. The solution also offers scalability to support evolving business requirements and enables remote and hybrid work environments, aligning with the bank’s long-term vision for secure, agile and cost-efficient operations.

The initiative is expected to significantly modernise the bank’s IT ecosystem, providing a future-ready digital workplace that supports operational efficiency and service delivery across its extensive branch network.

Commenting on the order win, Parag Dalal, Executive Director, Dynacons Systems & Solutions, said: “This strategic partnership underscores Dynacons’ commitment to delivering cutting-edge workplace solutions that empower organisations to focus on growth while we manage their IT infrastructure efficiently.”
