Eaton Appoints Binod Muni MD of Electrical Business in India

Eaton has recently appointed Binod Muni as Managing Director of its Electrical business in India, effective 1 January 2026. He succeeds Syed Sajjadh Ali, who retired on 31 December 2025 after a 17-year tenure that played a key role in strengthening Eaton’s Electrical operations in the country.

With over 27 years of experience spanning sales, business development and finance, Muni will be responsible for driving Eaton’s strategic priorities for its Electrical business in India. His focus areas include expanding market share through differentiated go-to-market strategies, accelerating new product introductions and technology localisation, strengthening value engineering, improving operational efficiency and supply chain resilience, and building high-performing teams.

Muni joined Eaton in August 2024 as Country Head – Sales and Marketing. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at multinational organisations including Saint-Gobain, Carrefour and Schneider Electric.

Eaton has operated in India for more than two decades and employs over 6,300 people across its innovation centre, manufacturing facilities and commercial offices. The company continues to invest in local capabilities, supporting its ‘Make in India’ vision across sectors such as electrical, mobility, aerospace and digital technologies.
