Enlight Metals Adopts AI to Boost Regional Lead Capture

Enlight Metals Pvt. Ltd., among India's fastest-growing metal aggregators, has successfully integrated Conversational AI into its lead generation and customer inquiry processes. This initiative aligns with the company's vision to digitise and simplify the industrial metal supply chain for India’s mobile-first buyers.
The AI assistant is now operational on Enlight’s website and WhatsApp channel, where it captures and routes inquiries in natural language—whether for HR coils, CR sheets, or GP plates. Supporting Hindi, English, Marathi, and Hinglish, the system enables regional customers to communicate comfortably in their preferred dialects. Its design incorporates local terminology and hybrid speech patterns, ensuring smooth interaction across user segments.
“At Enlight, we’re building more than just a sourcing platform—we’re developing an intelligent procurement ecosystem,” said Dhananjay Goel, Director of Enlight Metals Pvt. Ltd. “Conversational AI allows us to serve customers more quickly and intuitively, especially those who prefer regional languages. It’s about making industrial buying feel as simple as chatting with a friend.”
The AI-enabled assistant accepts voice-based RFQ (Request for Quotation) submissions in supported languages. It automatically structures and routes these requests—regardless of the time—reducing lead leakage and cutting response time from hours to seconds. Enlight has also automated PDF-based quotations, instantly delivering pricing based on material type, thickness, quantity, and delivery location.
As the company expands into new territories, Enlight plans to introduce support for Gujarati, Kannada, and other regional languages. The AI infrastructure has been developed as a modular system, allowing it to adapt to India’s diverse linguistic and cultural contexts.
