Force Motors Partners with Rosmerta for Vehicle Scrapping

Pune-based Force Motors has partnered with Rosmerta Auto Recycling to scrap old vehicles at the latter’s facility, according to a statement issued on Thursday. The partnership will give Force Motors customers access to an authorised vehicle scrapping facility in the National Capital Region (NCR), establishing a defined route for retiring end-of-life vehicles.

Under the collaboration, eligible vehicles will undergo the required documentation and scrapping procedures at Rosmerta’s facility. These processes include depollution and dismantling, followed by the segregation and recovery of materials that can be recycled. The arrangement is intended to provide vehicle owners with a structured option for responsibly disposing of ageing vehicles.

Rosmerta Auto Recycling operates as an authorised Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in the NCR. The company provides end-of-life vehicle recycling services through depollution, dismantling and material recovery processes designed to comply with environmental requirements. Its operations support the reuse of recoverable materials and contribute to the development of India’s circular economy.

The companies will also work towards simplifying the scrapping process for Force Motors customers whose vehicles have reached the end of their useful life. Rosmerta Group president Kartick V Nagpal said the partnership would provide customers with a clear route to an authorised facility, where vehicles could be safely depolluted and dismantled and materials such as steel and aluminium recovered for recycling. Force Motors managing director Prasan Firodia said responsible disposal was an important stage in a vehicle’s operating life and that the association would offer customers an authorised and dependable option. The partnership therefore links vehicle retirement with formal recycling and material recovery processes.
