Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning MEA and Elsewedy Machinery have secured a major contract to supply Egypt’s largest VRF system for the 660-km High-Speed Rail project. Over 3,000 high-efficiency Hitachi units will be installed across 21 stations, delivering 11,000 RT of cooling capacity. Manufactured in Spain, the system is Eurovent-certified and suited for Egypt’s climate. Elsewedy will manage full HVAC delivery, including installation and after-sales service.
