KPIL Secures New Orders Worth Rs 24.71 bn

Kalpataru Projects International Limited secured new orders and notifications of awards amounting to Rs 24.71 bn, the company announced from Mumbai. The orders were won by the company and its subsidiaries across power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and an underground metro rail project in India executed through a joint venture. The disclosures reinforced the company's position as one of the leading EPC players in infrastructure.

The underground metro rail project award strengthened the company's presence in urban transportation and was presented as a key addition to its urban infra portfolio. The new wins also comprised orders in domestic and overseas power transmission and distribution markets and assignments in the buildings and factories business in India. Management reported that the tally of orders secured in the current financial year reached Rs 220 bn to date, supplemented by a healthy pipeline and lead positions.
