Matrix Geo Secures Central Railway Track Survey Contract

Matrix Geo Solutions Limited has secured a domestic contract from Central Railway worth Rs 12.4 million (Rs 12.4 mn) on 20 July 2026 to carry out precision track geometry surveys. The project will survey 300 kilometres of railway lines over a period of 18 months using advanced geospatial technology to correct track alignment and modernise rail infrastructure. The award, announced in a corporate disclosure to stock exchanges, expands the company's transport portfolio and reflects growing demand for specialised surveying services in the rail sector.

The assignment, accepted through a Letter of Acceptance, includes GST and requires high precision geospatial measurement systems to identify alignment aberrations before they become safety hazards. The technology will enable engineers to determine deviations in track geometry and plan corrective action in line with railway engineering standards. With precise geometry data in place, train services will be able to operate at speeds of 160 kmph while delivering improved ride quality for passengers.
