MBL Infrastructure Secures Order for Rs. 811.4 mn Arbitration Award

The Commercial Court in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has directed the Public Works Department of the Uttarakhand Government to deposit Rs. 811.4 mn payable under an arbitration award in favour of MBL Infrastructure. The order was dated 5 October 2026, while the arbitration award relates to a road project in Udham Singh Nagar district.

The award, dated 14 December 2024, concerns the improvement and strengthening of roads under Package No. C-2 in Uttarakhand. According to the company’s regulatory filing, interest on the awarded amount is continuing at 12 per cent a year until the date of payment to MBL Infrastructure.

The court’s direction requires the state department to deposit the amount awarded in the arbitration proceedings.
