Michelin India opens three new Tyres & Services stores in Pune

Michelin India has expanded its retail footprint with the launch of three new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) stores in Pune, in partnership with Darshan Tyres. The move strengthens Michelin’s presence in the city and supports its growing network across Maharashtra.

The new outlets are located in Hadapsar, Camp and Chinchwad, offering wider access to customers across key automotive markets in Pune. The stores span 2,500 sq ft, 1,500 sq ft and 2,500 sq ft respectively, and are designed to cater to the increasing demand from premium vehicle owners in the region.

Each MTS store will offer Michelin’s full range of premium passenger car tyres along with services such as wheel alignment, balancing, tyre fitting, rotation, repair and replacement. The facilities are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and high-precision equipment to support tyre and vehicle maintenance requirements.

Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director, Michelin India, said: “Pune continues to be one of India’s fastest-growing automotive markets, with a strong base of premium vehicle owners. The launch of three new Michelin Tyres & Services Stores reflects our focused approach to expanding our retail footprint in high-potential markets and bringing our products and services closer to customers. This expansion is aligned with our plans to introduce Made-in-India passenger car tyres, reinforcing our commitment to delivering globally benchmarked products tailored for Indian consumers.”

Michelin said the expansion also reinforces its long-standing association with Darshan Tyres, which has over 35 years of presence in Pune’s automotive aftermarket. Darshan Tyres currently operates a network of 11 stores and two detailing studios, bringing local market expertise and service capabilities to the partnership.

The company said the latest store launches are part of its continued focus on improving customer accessibility through an expanding retail network.
