PM Modi inaugurates rail link connecting Jaklair, Krishna in Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed railway line connecting Jaklair and Krishna, a significant segment of the Mahbubnagar-Munirabad section, during a virtual ceremony held from Mahbubnagar. The inauguration marked the commencement of the inaugural train service between Krishna railway station and Kacheguda. The project, constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 5 billion, has brought several areas of Narayanpet district onto the national railway network for the first time.

Addressing the audience, Prime Minister Modi expressed his delight in launching foundational initiatives for rail and road connectivity, emphasising their transformative impact on the region's residents.
