Polycab Opens Quick Service Depot in Amritsar

Polycab India has expanded its distribution network with the launch of a new Quick Service Depot in Amritsar. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s supply chain across Punjab and Jammu through faster deliveries, improved service responsiveness and better market reach.
Spread across around 15,000 sq ft, the depot will support the distribution of Polycab’s product portfolio, including wires and cables, lighting, fans, switches, switchgear, conduits and pipes, and solar products. The facility is expected to improve order fulfilment, reduce lead times, ease inventory pressure and enhance service levels for channel partners and customers in the region.
The Amritsar depot also complements Polycab’s existing warehouse in Zirakpur, further reinforcing its regional logistics infrastructure. The company said the expansion aligns with its continued focus on operational efficiency, customer-centricity and quicker product availability across markets.

The company operates through 27 manufacturing facilities, 15 offices and 34 warehouses in India, supported by more than 4,300 authorised dealers and over 200,000 retail outlets. It has also served customers in 84 countries globally.
