States are encouraged to hold State Sagarmala Committee meetings to promote synergy among stakeholders. Such institutional mechanisms are intended to secure timely execution, optimal utilisation and long term sustainability of the projects.

The package includes the third stage expansion and modernisation of Malpe fishing harbour at a cost of Rs 500 million (mn), modernisation of Amadalli fishing harbour at Rs 190 million (mn), phase one of a skilling project under DDU GKY at Rs 15.3 million (mn), and installation of firefighting equipment at Karwar Port at Rs 182.1 million (mn). The disclosure reflects the central effort to enhance coastal infrastructure and community services in Karnataka.
