TCS And Swissport Extend AI-Led Strategic Partnership

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has renewed and extended its decade-long partnership with Swissport International Limited for a further five years, in a move designed to accelerate AI-led transformation across global aviation services. The agreement, announced on 20 March 2026, emphasises digital innovation, operational excellence and technological modernisation across Swissport's operations. The renewal seeks to support the company as it navigates a fast-changing aviation landscape.

As part of the expanded collaboration, TCS will lead modernisation of Swissport's technology landscape and scale artificial intelligence enabled services, data platforms and hybrid cloud operations to improve agility and resilience. The engagement is intended to strengthen IT service operations, enhance operational resilience and ensure consistent delivery of mission critical ground services. The work will also focus on elevating employee experience through improved tools and processes.

Over the past decade, TCS and Swissport have delivered measurable benefits through improved service stability, greater operational efficiency and faster time to market for digital capabilities. The firms have created a scalable and secure digital backbone by integrating data, automation and user centric design, which has increased operational visibility and turnaround efficiency at airports. These foundations have accelerated regional deployment of new digital solutions and supported more consistent operations.

Swissport's group chief information officer described the long standing partnership as pivotal in strengthening the firm’s digital backbone and said the renewed agreement would enable continued innovation at scale to support long term growth. TCS's business head for travel, transportation and hospitality for EMEA and APAC was reported to note that combining aviation domain knowledge with cloud, data and AI led innovation can create measurable operational impact. The renewed collaboration will further scale AI enabled services and data platforms to support Swissport's operational vision. The partners expect the work to create a more agile, data driven and future ready operational model.
