Over the next two years, the expansion is expected to create significant employment opportunities, reinforcing TCS’ status as one of Mexico’s top employers. Rajeev Gupta, Head-Nearshore LATAM and Country Head – Mexico, described the centre as a milestone in delivering cutting-edge solutions and fostering local talent. Marcelo Wurmann, CEO – Latin America, added that Mexico remains a key pillar of TCS’ regional growth strategy.
Marcelo Ebrard, Mexico’s Economy Secretary, welcomed the move, noting that TCS’ investment and job creation will be vital for positioning Mexico as a regional hub for technological innovation.
The facility builds on TCS’ two-decade presence in Mexico, where it also runs specialised centres in Guadalajara and Querétaro. Recognised for 11 consecutive years as a Top Employer in Mexico, TCS continues to expand its influence through long-term partnerships, sustainable growth initiatives, and community-focused innovation.
In the fiscal year ending March 2025, TCS reported consolidated revenues exceeding US $30 billion, underlining its global scale and commitment to driving digital transformation worldwide.
