WeWork India Adds Two Centres in Bengaluru and Pune

Managed workspace operator WeWork India has opened two new centres in Bengaluru and Pune, adding around 225,000 sq ft and more than 4,500 desks to its portfolio. The openings take the company’s network to 79 centres across eight cities, covering 9.1 mn sq ft.

The new locations are WeWork Infinix Palladium in Whitefield, Bengaluru, and WeWork Millenium Towers in Wakad, Pune. The company said the centres were established to place workplaces closer to business activity, employment hubs and residential communities while supporting changing workforce requirements.

The Whitefield centre spans nearly 170,000 sq ft and provides more than 3,100 desks. It strengthens WeWork India’s presence in an established Bengaluru office market, where the operator already runs 30 centres covering 3.3 mn sq ft and about 51,700 desks.

The Wakad centre occupies the 16th and 17th floors of Millenium Towers and covers around 55,000 sq ft, with nearly 1,400 desks. Its location places it between the Hinjewadi employment hub and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, and takes WeWork India’s Pune portfolio to eight centres covering 0.8 mn sq ft and 14,400 desks.

WeWork India said both centres offer workspaces designed to combine productivity with employee well-being. The facilities are intended to serve enterprises, global capability centres (GCCs) and growing businesses, with the company noting that its client base includes Fortune 500 companies. Its network now spans Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Noida and New Delhi.
