Wipro Reports Annual And Quarterly Results

Wipro Limited reported financial results for the three months and year ended March 31, 2026. Revenues for the quarter were Rs 242,363 million (Rs 242,363 mn) and equivalent to US$2,583 mn on the company convenience translation, while revenue for the year was Rs 926,240 million (Rs 926,240 mn) or US$9,871 mn. Profit for the quarter was Rs 35,216 million (Rs 35,216 mn) and US$375 mn, with profit for the year at Rs 132,655 million (Rs 132,655 mn) and US$1,414 mn.

The company reported gross profit and results from operating activities that supported an operating margin of 17.3 per cent for the period. Results from operating activities for the quarter were Rs 41,963 million (Rs 41,963 mn) and the report noted continued contribution from IT Services across Americas, Europe and APMEA strategic market units. Segment revenues for IT Services for the quarter were reported at US$2,651 mn as per IFRS disclosure and constant currency dynamics were highlighted in reconciliations.

Cash generation remained robust with net cash from operating activities for the quarter of Rs 31,731 million (Rs 31,731 mn) and for the year of Rs 149,316 million (Rs 149,316 mn). Free cash flow was Rs 26,911 million (Rs 26,911 mn) for the quarter and Rs 134,471 million (Rs 134,471 mn) for the year. The board approved a buy-back for the value of Rs 150 billion (Rs 150 bn) and confirmed an interim dividend of Rs 11 declared earlier to be the final dividend for the financial year 2025-26.

Looking ahead, the company provided guidance for IT Services revenue in the range of US$2,597 mn to US$2,651 mn for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, representing a sequential range of negative two point zero per cent to zero per cent in constant currency. Total bookings for the year were US$16,449 mn (about US$16.4 bn) and large deal TCV for the year was US$7,829 mn (US$7.8 bn). The company noted total headcount of 242,156 and continued focus on delivery productivity and customer concentration metrics.
