Zelio Partners With Punjab Kings As Official EV Partner

Zelio E-Mobility has signed a partnership with Punjab Kings to become the team’s Official EV Partner for the 2026 season, marking a strategic step in the electric two-wheeler maker’s expansion. The company, which has been doubling its growth year over year, will use the alliance to raise brand visibility across India through sport. The tie-up is presented as a convergence of a major cricket franchise and a fast-growing green mobility movement.

As part of the arrangement Zelio will obtain branding rights, digital media integration and in-stadia activations, and two of its models, the XMen+ launched in 2026 and the X Men 2.0, will be featured by the team. The move is intended to place Zelio’s products in the mainstream public eye and to accelerate awareness and consideration for its electric two-wheeler lineup. The brand expects the association to reach consumers across geographies and demographics, with particular focus on Tier two markets.

Company executives indicated that cricket offers an effective platform to engage a wide consumer base and to strengthen Zelio’s presence in culturally relevant settings as operations scale. Punjab Kings emphasised that the partnership aligns sport with sustainable innovation and that the association aims to create meaningful fan engagement while resonating with forward-looking consumers. The collaboration will activate across jersey branding, digital and social media campaigns to connect Zelio’s story with cricket fans nationwide.

The company said the partnership complies with disclosure requirements under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, 2015, and does not involve related parties. Zelio said it raised Rs 783.4 mn in its IPO, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 588.4 mn and an offer for sale of one point one four mn shares worth Rs 155 mn, with the issue seeing an overall subscription of one point five times. Supported by a dealer network of over 350 outlets across more than 20 states and union territories, the company markets electric two-wheelers under the Zelio brand and three-wheeler e-rickshaws under the Tanga line, serving over 200,000 riders.
