Essar Steel commissions phase I of India’s largest pellet plant

Essar Steel has commissioned a 6 mmtpa pellet-making facility in Odisha. This is just the first phase of the 12 mmtpa pellet plant to be commissioned by 2013. The company is investing around Rs 4,200 crore to set up the integrated facility as part of its ongoing investments in Odisha.
