Zamil Steel's participation in Indian trade events has boosted its presence in the Indian market.

Zamil Steel has a factory in Pune which produces pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB). Among five other PEB producing plants of the company, the main plant is in Dammam.Two plants are located in Vietnam and one each operates in Egypt and Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. The combined production capacity of these factories exceeds 10 million sq m per year. Since its inception in 1977 in Saudi Arabia, Zamil Steel has supplied more than 65,000 buildings to over 90 countries worldwide. Buildings in the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia testify the company's 35 years of PEB expertise, innovations and expansions. Participation in Indian trade events, and the awards and accolades it won this year from Vietnam and the UAE, have ramped up the company's appeal overseas.

Networking opportunity
Hundreds of visitors had a look at the company's offerings at the Roof India Exhibition, which took place in Mumbai, and the India Warehousing Show 2013, held in New Delhi.

Approximately 500 people visited its display booth at Roof India and nearly 400 visitors frequented the company's booth at India Warehousing Show. These provided the company representatives ample opportunities to network with many influential logistics experts and warehousing developers. Moreover, sessions at a warehousing conference enabled participants to share information about best managerial practices, operational standards and cost reduction methods.

Projects completedOverall, the projects completed by the company in India include factory buildings for Thermax Babcok Wilcox Energy Solutions, Shimuzu Corporation, JK Paper and McNally Sayaji Engineering.
