Bharat Forge Wins Long-Term Contract from Pratt & Whitney Canada

Bharat Forge has secured a long-term contract from RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Canada to supply critical aerospace engine components. The components will be manufactured at Bharat Forge’s aerospace facility in India, strengthening the company’s role in the global aerospace supply chain.

The contract covers mission-critical components for aerospace engines produced by Pratt & Whitney Canada. Bharat Forge said its Indian facility has the advanced manufacturing technologies required to support production for the aerospace sector and meet demanding international requirements.

The facility operates in accordance with global standards covering quality, precision, reliability and traceability. These requirements are central to aerospace manufacturing, where component performance and production consistency are essential for the safe and dependable operation of aircraft engines.

Bharat Forge Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director Amit Kalyani said the agreement demonstrated the company’s position in the global aerospace supply chain. He said the partnership reflected its focus on advanced manufacturing, operational excellence and stringent quality standards while delivering aerospace solutions to international customers.

Pratt & Whitney Canada Vice-President of Supply Chain Nathalie Rivet said the collaboration supported the company’s objective of developing a resilient and high-performing global supply chain. She also acknowledged Bharat Forge’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise and commitment to quality.

The agreement highlights the growing confidence of global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Bharat Forge’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
