Etihad Cargo launches Excellence Hub for global logistics training

Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, has launched the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub, introducing what it describes as the air cargo industry’s first airline-led logistics training academy. The initiative aims to establish uniform operational, safety and compliance standards across the company’s global partner network.

The platform has been developed to address growing regulatory complexity and expanding international operations, with structured capability development seen as essential to ensuring reliability and maintaining customer confidence. The Excellence Hub offers both mandatory and elective training programmes for Etihad Cargo representatives and stakeholders worldwide.

Its curriculum covers operating standards, product and service frameworks, safety and compliance modules aligned with international regulations, and industry-certified programmes delivered in partnership with accredited institutions. The training also includes targeted soft skills courses designed to strengthen customer engagement and service delivery.

By embedding structured learning throughout its ecosystem, Etihad Cargo aims to enhance risk management, improve operational consistency and safeguard service quality across all operational touchpoints. The digital platform enables scalable and standardised knowledge sharing across regions, ensuring alignment among global partners regardless of location.

Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said: “The Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub ensures our global partners operate to the same safety, compliance and service standards. As we grow, consistency becomes a competitive advantage. This initiative protects our brand, strengthens performance discipline and directly supports the customer experience we commit to deliver.”

Nadia Al Bastaki, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, added: “Etihad is committed to investing in people, and the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub is a testament to this commitment. By providing accessible courses and a platform for knowledge sharing, Etihad Cargo aims to enhance the capabilities of those entering and advancing within the air cargo industry.”

The company continues to prioritise safety, compliance and operational discipline, positioning the Excellence Hub as a key pillar supporting its long-term global growth strategy.
