Ravish Kumar Singh, IRTS, recently assumed additional charge as Deputy Chairperson of Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA).Singh is currently serving as Deputy Chairperson of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA). He brings experience across port administration, railway operations, logistics planning and commercial management.Before his assignment at JNPA, he served as Deputy Chief Operations Manager, Central Railway, and held several operational and commercial positions in Indian Railways.On assuming the additional charge, Singh was welcomed by Dr M. Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson, Mumbai Port Authority, along with heads of departments and senior officials.Mumbai Port Authority also acknowledged the contribution of Adesh Titarmare, IAS, who completed his tenure as Deputy Chairperson of Mumbai Port Authority on 16 September 2026.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M. I also place on record our deep appreciation for the valuable contribution made by Shri Adesh Titarmare, IAS, during his tenure as Deputy Chairperson.”Singh assumes the additional responsibility as Mumbai Port Authority progresses initiatives under its Master Plan 2047 and Eastern Waterfront Transformation. These cover port operations, cruise infrastructure, marine tourism, energy infrastructure, green port initiatives and public-facing maritime projects.Mumbai Port Authority continues to focus on strengthening its role as a working port, cruise and passenger gateway, energy infrastructure centre and maritime institution serving Mumbai and the country.
