ARSS Infrastructure Bags Road Project in Odisha

ARSS Infrastructure Projects has been awarded a work order worth Rs 214.6 million (Rs 214.6 mn) for road improvement in the State of Odisha. The contract covers widening and strengthening of the Dengapola to Champahat route via Jantakothi, Podana, Tandikul, Naulo and Sorishpokhari. The award was disclosed in an official notification that lists the scope and contract value.

The listed stretch extends from zero kilometres to 14.647 kilometres, excluding the section between 10.340 km and 10.970 km. The order was issued by the office of the Superintending Engineer, Jagatsinghpur Roads and Buildings Division under the state plan for Jagatsinghpur district. The tender documents set out the excluded section and other technical particulars.

The work order requires pavement strengthening and carriageway widening to improve capacity and resilience of the corridor, with execution and supervision responsibilities resting with the awarded firm. The contract forms part of scheduled infrastructure activity in the district and is expected to proceed under the administrative framework of the division. The company will be required to comply with the technical and safety standards specified by the division during implementation.

The company will undertake the project in accordance with the specifications set out by the division and will report progress to the designated office. The award reinforces the firm's engagement in regional road projects and contributes to planned network upgrades in the region. Stakeholder coordination and monitoring by the division will guide delivery and quality assurance.

The project timeline and milestones will be governed by the division's schedule, with periodic inspections and milestone payments tied to completion stages.
