Delhi Lt Governor Saxena reviews city cleanliness and infrastructure

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena conducted an assessment of cleanliness and infrastructure at various locations in Delhi. During the evaluation, he raised concerns about the deteriorating conditions of certain roads and drainage systems. Earlier this month, in an interview with PTI, Saxena had expressed his commitment to enhancing the aesthetic appeal of different areas in Delhi. He has already initiated inspections of areas that require beautification efforts.

Saxena shared his observations with PTI as he prepared for the G20 Summit. Substantial portions of the national capital underwent redevelopment in preparation for this significant event.

"In my inspection journey, which commenced at Yudhisthir Setu near ISBT, I assessed the cleanliness and civic infrastructure along the GT Road-Shastri Park, Dilshad Garden, and Kakardooma areas," Saxena reported in a statement posted on X.
