NHAI officials, after a field review of the 104 km-long four-lane outer ring road by representatives of Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh, said it will be completed by December to facilitate pilgrims in reaching the Ram temple in Ayodhya without the need to enter Lucknow city. Construction of two railway-over bridges (ROBs) and one bridge over the Agra-Lucknow expressway is going on. NTPC has been asked to provide fly ash in large quantities so it can be used to raise the height of the bridges. The project worth Rs.35 billion was kick-started in 2020 but due to Covid, the deadline was extended. Contact: National Highways Authority Of India Tel: 011-25074100 Website: www.nhai.gov.in
