NCC Receives Rs. 12.86 bn Road Contract in Telangana

Infrastructure company NCC has received a Letter of Acceptance from Hyderabad Growth Corridor for a Rs. 12.86 bn road construction project in Telangana. The contract, excluding goods and services tax (GST), is scheduled for completion within 18 months.

The project involves constructing Radial Road-2 from the Outer Ring Road near Budwel to Nacharam on NH-167N. The awarded package covers the section from Budwel to Shabad in Telangana and was placed by a domestic entity under general conditions of contract.

NCC said the contract value is Rs. 12.86 bn excluding GST. The award adds to a series of orders secured by the company during September and October 2026, strengthening its order inflow across its infrastructure businesses.

During September, NCC received two orders with a combined value of Rs. 5 bn, excluding GST. Of this amount, the Buildings Division accounted for Rs. 2.25 bn, while the Transportation Division received orders valued at Rs. 2.75 bn.

The September awards followed a major order worth Rs. 10.77 bn, excluding GST, disclosed by NCC on September 28. The company said the orders were received in the normal course of business, did not include any internal order and were not related-party transactions. It also stated that its promoters, promoter group and group companies had no interest in the entities that awarded the projects.

NCC shares ended at Rs. 119.95 on the BSE on October 8, down Rs. 6.95, or 5.48 per cent, from the previous close.
