Raj Path Infrastructure Sets Guinness Record for 28.95 Km BC Road

Maharashtra-based Raj Path Infrastructure has secured a Guinness World Records entry for laying 28.95 km of Bituminous Concrete (BC) road in 24 hours. The completed stretch forms part of the NH-544G Greenfield Highway in Sri Sathya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh, and is included in the Amaravati-Bangalore Expressway project.

The record-setting work was carried out from Sadarlapalli in the Puttaparthi assembly constituency. The highway is being developed to strengthen regional connectivity and provide faster and smoother road links, making the achievement a significant milestone in the construction of the route.

Representatives of Raj Path Infrastructure met Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy on Friday and handed over a copy of the Guinness World Records certificate. The company expressed gratitude to the MLA for providing the support required to complete the highway stretch within the record time.

The road construction began at 8 a.m. on January 5 and concluded at 8 a.m. on January 6. During the 24-hour operation, the company laid 28.95 km of road using 7,500 t of concrete and asphalt, according to company authorities.

Raj Path Infrastructure already has two entries in the Guinness World Records. The latest achievement marks an improvement on its earlier records and was completed during construction of the Amaravati-Bangalore Expressway in the Sathya Sai district.

The NH-544G project is intended to improve movement through the region by creating a new highway connection. The record was achieved on a defined section of the project, linking the company’s construction work with the wider development of the expressway and its planned regional connectivity benefits.
