3 bidders for extension work of Delhi Metro Magenta Line

Three civil construction companies submitted bids last week for the 3.5 km Package DC-01A (Vikaspuri Ramp – Mangolpuri) of the 28.92 km Janakpuri West – RK Ashram extension of the Delhi Metro Magenta Line.The elevated section has four stations of 12.375 km Package DC-01 of the Delhi Metro Phase 4 project, which connects Vikaspuri Ramp and Haiderpur-Badli Mor Station via ten stations.China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation – KEC International (CCECC – KEC) JV received the construction contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in November 2019 with a 30-month completion deadline.Following discussions between CCECC – KEC and DMRC, this portion was removed from the purview of DC-01.
