Concord Control Systems Bags Rs 1.85 Bn KAVACH 4.0 Order

Concord Control Systems, a leading Indian manufacturer of embedded electronic systems and critical electronic solutions, has secured a major order worth Rs 1.85 billion for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of KAVACH 4.0 systems for Indian Railways. The order has been awarded through Progota India, an associate company of Concord Control Systems, and is expected to be executed within the next 12 months.

KAVACH 4.0 is India’s indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, developed to enhance railway safety by preventing train collisions, over-speeding and signal passing at danger. The latest version incorporates advanced digital technologies to improve operational efficiency while significantly strengthening passenger safety across the rail network.

Commenting on the order win, Gaurav Lath, Joint Managing Director, Concord Control Systems, said, “This significant order is a strong validation of our technological expertise, execution capabilities, and long-standing partnership with Indian Railways. At Concord, we are deeply committed to strengthening India’s railway safety ecosystem through indigenous, future-ready solutions. KAVACH 4.0 represents a major step towards building a safer, more reliable rail network, and we are proud to contribute to this national mission.”

He added that the milestone reinforces the company’s growth trajectory and highlights its continued focus on innovation, localisation and operational excellence as it expands its footprint in critical railway infrastructure projects.

Nitin Jain, Joint Managing Director, Concord Control Systems, said, “We are honoured to receive this additional KAVACH 4.0 order from Indian Railways, which reflects the strong confidence placed in Concord’s technological capabilities and execution strength. This continued mandate reinforces our position as a trusted partner in India’s railway safety modernisation programme.”

He further noted that the company remains focused on delivering high-quality, indigenous solutions that enhance network reliability, operational efficiency and passenger safety, while creating long-term value for stakeholders.

The order further strengthens Concord Control Systems’ position as a key contributor to India’s railway modernisation and safety initiatives, aligned with the government’s vision of building a technologically advanced, secure and sustainable transportation ecosystem.
