Four companies submitted bids for preparing the Madurai Metro DPR

The detailed project report (DPR) for the Madurai metrorail project, which would include a 31 km stretch between Othakadai and Thirumangalam, has received bids from four businesses. These four companies to have submitted bids are RITES Private Limited, SYSTRA MVA Consulting Private Limited, Balaji Rail Road Systems Private Limited, and Aarvee Associates Architects Engineers and Consultants Private Limited.

Officials from Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) state that after signing a contract with a consultation agency, the detailed project report will be prepared within 75 days. The state and federal governments would be asked to approve the detailed project report after it has been completed.
