One of India's esteemed royal trains, the Deccan Odyssey Luxury Tourist Train, renowned as a prestigious project of the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, has emerged rejuvenated and ready to embark on its post-pandemic journey following a substantial refurbishment.

This comprehensive revitalization endeavor, officially inaugurated on September 21st, witnessed the participation of key dignitaries, including Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan, and School Education and Marathi Language Minister Deepak Kesarkar. The significance of this milestone is underscored by its profound impact on the tourism sector.

The Deccan Odyssey luxury train first graced the tracks in 2003, departing from the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, with the blessings of both Central and State Governments. This symbolic reopening signals a renewed commitment to providing travelers with a luxurious and memorable experience as they explore the rich tapestry of India's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.
