The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has achieved notable progress, according to the Railway Ministry's recent update. Land acquisition for the high-speed rail corridor is now complete, with all necessary land parcels secured. This milestone marks a crucial step forward in the ambitious infrastructure project.

Construction work has also advanced significantly, with the establishment of the 341-kilometre-long pier foundation now underway. This phase involves setting up the foundational structures required for the elevated tracks of the bullet train. The pier foundations are essential for supporting the rail infrastructure and ensuring its stability.

The project, which aims to connect Mumbai and Ahmedabad with a high-speed rail link, promises to revolutionise travel between the two cities, cutting travel time to just a few hours. The completion of land acquisition and foundational work are critical components in meeting the project's timeline and ensuring its success.
