Northern Railway has been awarded the prestigious Build India Infra Award 2025 for its exceptional contribution to the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link project. The award was presented by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and accepted by Northern Railway’s General Manager, Ashok Kumar Verma, who praised the team’s dedication, innovation, and commitment. 

Recognised in the Railways sector, this project exemplifies India’s engineering excellence and aims to enhance all-weather connectivity by linking the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country. It is expected to drive socio-economic growth across North India and beyond.
