RailTel clarified that the contract is a domestic award and does not constitute a related party transaction, and that neither its promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity. The order is intended to bolster the company's footprint in the education and digital infrastructure segment. The project aligns with government efforts to promote technology enabled learning in public schools.

Five years of maintenance support is intended to provide continuity of service and reduce downtime of equipment. The company indicated that the work will strengthen its role in delivering connectivity and digital solutions to public institutions.

RailTel will implement the project according to the agreed timeline, coordinating with local education authorities and vendors to meet procurement and installation milestones. The company reported that the contract value and schedule further reflect growing demand for technology enabled education projects in urban public schools.
