ZF India unveils advanced railway dampers at IREE 2025

ZF India Pvt Ltd has introduced its latest range of advanced railway dampers for the Indian market at the International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025, strengthening its position in the nation’s growing rail sector.

Designed for metro, semi-high-speed, high-speed, and locomotive applications, the new dampers promise enhanced reliability and durability tailored to Indian operating conditions. Featuring a maintenance-free twin-tube design, compact build, and customisable characteristic curves, they aim to improve passenger comfort and operational efficiency for rail operators.

With high dynamic stiffness and proven performance under extreme weather conditions, the dampers are engineered to reduce downtime and total cost of ownership. Production will take place at ZF’s Chakan plant in Pune, with all products validated to global ZF standards — reflecting the company’s focus on localisation and innovation.
