EWD to establish four malls in tier-II cities

Entertainment World Developers (EWD) is planning to set up four malls across 2.1 mn sq ft at Ujjain and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh as well as Bhilai and Raipur in Chhattisgarh by the end of 2009-10. The company has envisaged developing 23 mn sq ft in 11 cities spread across seven states necessitating an investment of Rs 3,500 crore. By the end of 2010-11, the company is expected to own seven operational malls, making it the largest shopping mall owner in the country.
