Work on Kerala’s Bhavanapadu, Bandar ports to begin
Work on the Bhavanapadu and Bandar ports is slated to launch soon, with the Ramayapatnam port work reportedly being done on a war footing. The anchorage port is being developed at a cost of Rs 1 billion under the Sagarmala Scheme. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is giving priority to the development of ports in the state. Aurobindo Realty set to win Ramayapatnam port EPC
Hyderabad based construction technology company Aurobindo Realty and Infrastructure Private Ltd is set to win the Rs 2,634 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from the Andhra Pradesh government for a new port at Ramayapatnam in Prakasam district.

Indian container cargo set to expand by 8% in FY25 amidst Red Sea crisis
CareEdge Ratings forecasts that Indian container cargo volume will experience an 8% growth, reaching 342 million tonnes (mt) in FY25. They also anticipate the risk of a prolonged Red Sea crisis.
