A team from the Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC), led by Mayor Tamme Phassang, visited Goa to explore advanced waste treatment technologies.

The delegation, which included IMC corporators and officials, toured the Vasudha Waste Treatment and the Manohar Parrikar Integrated Municipal Waste Treatment Facility in Vandemol, Cacora.

The visit aimed to provide the team with direct insights into innovative waste management practices, focusing on recycling and sustainable waste treatment methods. The IMC team stressed the importance of adopting forward-thinking practices to address waste management challenges efficiently.

The experience gained during this visit will be essential in improving waste segregation, recycling, and sustainable disposal initiatives in Itanagar, Phassang added.
