Jaipur earmarks land to set up waste-to-energy plant

The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has earmarked 25 hectares in Langdiwas to set up waste-to-energy plant. The plant, which will have the capacity of nearly 700 mn litre per day, will be developed on PPP model, and an MoU is expected to be signed soon with the firm. The estimated cost of this project will be Rs 180 crore.
