Rajasthan housing board gives Rs 230 million to JMC-Greater

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has reportedly handed over Rs 232.3 million to the Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater for development work.

For the first time in 15 years, the housing board has given JMC-Greater 15 per cent of its earnings, as required by the provisions. The payment covers the fiscal years 2010-11 through 2021-22.

According to the rules, the municipal corporation is entitled to 15 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of properties by the housing board as long as the properties are maintained.
