PIB clears Nagpur metro rail

The Nagpur Metro railway proposal has been cleared by the Planning Commission´s Public Investment Board (PIB). First tabled in 2012, work on the project was recently initiated. That said, the project cost has increased by about Rs 2,000 crore from the base price quoted in 2012.
